I remember when Nirzhar (Near-Zhar) and I were just married in our first apartment discussing our future together… Although neither of us really knew what we wanted to do, but we knew we wanted work close to home so that we were there for our children. And now here we are over 10 years later working together as entrepreneurs in our businesses, Blaze Interactive and Indra Successful Coach Marketing, as well as raising our two boys. We have created a life that’s balanced with being business owners and parents, which is filled with many challenges as well as benefits.

Nirzhar and I are designers in our own rights: Nirzhar in Web Design and Development and I in Interior Design. We decided to go into business together soon after we both won several design awards. We thought, Now that we have some recognition for our talent, let’s take advantage of it! So, with the winnings from the competitions, we started our first company “Blaze Interactive” which builds interactive websites for service based entrepreneurs, and then shortly after “Indra Successful Coach Marketing” which builds custom designed websites for business and life coaches.

As our business grew, our time grew short with our biggest priority - our children. So we had to set strict work hours, schedules for pick-ups and drop-offs, as well as who cooks diner when, and what days I can network at night and so on. People I network with have often ask How:
How can you work together and be happily married?
How do you have your children respect your time working?
How do you have a home cooked sit-down dinner every night?
How do you still have time for your children?
How can you not work 80 hour weekends?
How, How, How!
So, that’s why we developed this blog: to answer “How“.
