Sometimes pushing harder is easier than giving up. That’s what I was thinking as was whining in my head about the last push through my jog this morning. My calves where screaming, my shins felt like splinters, and (more…)

Keyword and search engines for blogs and websites

How to do business with compassion
There are many companies that pride themselves in doing business with a heart. These companies strive to make helping their community through their business a priority. What to give on Valentines Day Some women love flowers from their spouse, but give me gas any day!

Today I woke-up thinking it was 5am, and started getting ready for the busy day ahead: take kids to school, drive 2 hours to San Diego for a Networking event, drive back, pick-up kids, email, phone calls, etc. I had about 1 1/2 hours before the kids needed to get up and so I took my time. -First, relax…I thought of these past two weeks as a mini vacation in which I took some days off to be with my children fully. Anxiety levels can raise as emails and voice mails start to pile-up as work days are shorter, so to calm these feelings I let our clients know that we would be having shortened work days and certain days off to spend with family.
-Second, there’s still work to be done! One of my favorite rituals (more…)

Family DinnerThe Family Dinner: it doesn’t have to be around a drive-thru, and it doesn’t have to be a thing of the past. When Nirzhar and I started to get really busy with our business, the “Family Dinner” was the first thing to go: we’d wonder out of our home office, look at each other exhausted and hungry and our children would ask, “What’s for dinner?”
To say the least, it was the last (more…)
